Students who were unable to clean out their lockers can come pick up their belongings in the front lobby until July 11th. Office hours: 8:00-2:30

Parents/Guardians  usually receive a report card in June that summarizes their child’s progress during the year.  This year we are unable to produce the usual progress reports because of the teachers’ strike.  In order to attain final letter grades for students in grades 10, 11 and 12 Chilliwack School District followed the Labour Relations Board Essential Services Orders (http://www.bcpsea.bc.ca).

Reports have been distributed as follows:

·         Students in grades K-9 will not receive a report card until the current labour dispute is settled.  In the interim, schools issued a letter via mail for each student which provides an end-of-year statement that includes information about their promotion for the coming year.  In the fall, programs of interventions and supports will be established for students whose information indicates that they are at academic risk.

·          Classroom teachers reviewed the most recent report card percentages in order to determine final marks for students in grades 10 and 11. Grade 10 and 11 students will receive report cards with final grades only.

·         Final marks for students in grade 12 were submitted by teachers to school administration. Grade 12 reports have been completed and mailed.

Report Cards for Students of CSS were mailed home July 2, 2014

Enquiries about student marks may be brought forward to teachers upon their return to work.

We would like to thank our parents/guardians and community for their patience during these difficult times.

Message to Parents and Students of CSS

We have been informed that the BCTF will continue to picket summer school sites. Therefore, the Chilliwack School District will cancel all summer school programs.
Please contact your school principal or vice principal in order to meet with the school-based team for additional learning supports and/or interventions when returning to school in the fall.
