Steve Anderson

Hey, I got into the education game a little later than some, coming from a career in construction and design. I have been active as a contractor for the past 30 years. I made the jump to teaching because I love working with this age group (not middle school) but high school. I have had the pleasure of working with our young people since /94 and after a number of years teaching construction related courses I was fortunate enough to take over the school’s Leadership Program and had a great run of 16 years working with tomorrow’s leaders.

My personal motto is “Go Big, or Go Home”, this is posted on the wall in my classroom and is an idea that I firmly believe. If you're here, give it all that you’ve got, if not….Well then, “what’s the point”. Entrepreneurship, Design, Stagecraft represent the years past while today it’s all about Psychology. My degrees are B.Ed. in Technology (trades), M. Ed. In Educational Admin and Course development, plus a number of business related diplomas. The ride here at CSS is AWESOME! If you’re thinking about making this school a part of your Educational journey

“GIT ER DONE!”

I also serve as the Executive Director for a foundation that my family started to help support an orphanage / relief project that my daughter (also one of our school's grads) began in a remote region of Nigeria in 2006. I find myself in Nigeria for most of our summer vacations working with a number of different levels of government. The foundation is a registered non-profit charity in Canada.
